Truffle (“we”, “us”) operates truffledesign.co. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@truffledesign.co.
What we collect
- Enquiry form. When you submit the form we receive your email address, what you tell us about your project, and how you found us (campaign tags in the page address, if any). This is sent to our inbox by email; we do not store it in a database.
- Bookings. Calls are scheduled through Cal.com, which collects your name, email and chosen time under its own privacy policy.
- Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card or bank details; Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and subscription status.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, run your call, deliver and bill the service you bought, and understand what on our site is useful. Under UK GDPR our legal bases are: taking steps to enter a contract with you (enquiries, bookings, payments) and our legitimate interest in improving the site (analytics).
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site work: Stripe (payments), Cal.com (scheduling), Google (analytics), Resend (sending our emails) and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your information to anyone.
Cookies
The site sets cookies for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time and the site will keep working.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept while we might work together and deleted on request. Billing records are kept as long as UK tax law requires. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email hello@truffledesign.co and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date.
